Great Bits:
USPSA Production Gun National Comes Down to the Closest Finish in History
Tulsa - The race for the Production Gun National Championship has come down to the closest finish in USPSA history. At the beginning of the final day of competition, less than eight match points separated Team Glock’s Dave Sevigny and The Army Marksmanship Unit’s Max Michel Jr. Dave left some doors open for Max to take his first Production title and Max drove his new CZ SP-01 to the limit. Sevigny shot his own game using his Glock Model 34 and the apparent lack of urgency almost cost him.
After the three final stages of fire, Max had made up the deficit, but fell short of the win by the slimmest of margins leaving Dave Sevigny on top by less than fifteen hundredths of a match point. The championship win is Sevigny’s fifth USPSA Production Division National title. Photography: Yamil R. Sued / Photoworks
