Katrina writes:
The S & W 1911 is great! It’s so smooth, with hardly any kick-back. I thought that with a 45 there would be a lot of recoil, but it was very comfortable to shoot. It’s such a beauty. It was such a surprise to win!
Thank you very much, it’s a wonderful gun!

Steven writes:
“I picked up my new gun this morning and 50 rounds just to try it out. Thanks to the "tips from the pros" on the proper grip and some help from 2 other people at the range, I can hold a group in a 4" circle at 30ft. I think that's pretty good for the 1st. time with a short barreled, self-defense weapon and range reloads. I was surprised at the size of the gun. It's bigger than the picture makes it look and it fits my hands quite well. I also like the short, light trigger pull in SA mode. I can see where this pistol shooting stuff can become a habit. Now I want to try moving targets. Thanks again to Shooting USA, and to the folks at Smith & Wesson for pulling my name out of the hat this month.”

“I would like to thank everyone involved with the Shooting USA television show and website. It has been an amazing couple of days! I first received the call that I was the March Winner of the Gun-A-Month Giveaway, and within a matter of days I was actually holding it in my hands! When Rick at Graff’s Reloading Supercenter handed me the revolver I was surprised at its lightweight and comfortable features. I am proud to be an owner of such a quality handgun and am looking forward to taking it out for some target practice!
I commend Shooting USA for their acknowledgement and encouragement of female involvement with firearms. The diversity of Shooting USA show gives an opportunity to those of us who have interest in guns to learn safety and training; while watching from our home. Keep up the excellent work presenting the sport of shooting firearms!
Again, I appreciate the effort by all associated with the prompt delivery of my Smith & Wesson 386 revolver.
Sincerely, Shirley Browning”

I participated in The Great American Gun-a-Month Giveaway. I played just for fun without expecting to win. To my surprise, in the month of December, I received a phone call from Jim telling me that I was the winner of Smith & Wesson 990L. I am excited to be a new owner of this gun!
Also, I would like to thank to Ronnie and George from Shooter’s Paradise, in Oxnard, for help and support and making the transfer of the gun possible.
Best wishes from Carlos Carbajal”

“Just to let you know this past Saturday I received a call from J & J Custom Firearms that they had just received a package from Smith & Wesson, and I could come in and pick up my new weapon.
As you can see I did not miss this occasion, and had it by that afternoon. A brand new Model 619 Stainless Steel Revolver; it feels great as far as the weight, and its build, and the trigger pull is clean and very nice. I think the picture attached of the presentation tells the story very well.
Thank you again, and thanks to the sponsors of your show that made this a very pleasant Christmas this year, and to the Gun of the Month contest.
Thank You and Good luck to All - Gerhard Finke”
