The Case Master Tool

SI2510Allan1

In today’s tip on reloading, I would like to talk about one of the frequently asked questions that we receive at the factory. That is, how can I determine the quality of my cases prior to the reloading process. To help determine this, we will be using the Case Master Gauge, which is a multi-faceted measuring tool, which will help determine the quality of all aspects of the case. For instance, in this configuration the Case master is set up to determine the amount of case neck concentricity to the case body.

Now we have reconfigured the Case Master Gauge to determine the amount of bullet run out you have in each loaded cartridge.

In this configuration, we are set up to measure case head separation, which always begins on the inside of your case.

And, in this configuration, we have set up the case gauge to measure the neck thickness all the way around the diameter of the case.

The Case Master Gauge is a versatile measuring tool, which will help you to determine the quality of all aspects of your case prior to, and after, reloading.
