Today’s reloading tip is about case preparation. Specifically I would like to talk to you today about flash hole deburring and case uniformity.
In the manufacturing process the flash hole is put in with a punch. This punch creates a burr on the inside of the flash hole which must be removed using a hand deburring tool. Removing the burr on your flash hole can also be accomplished on this station on your Trim Mate. Now what I would like to talk about is primer pocket uniforming. Primer pocket uniforming is important to ensure that you have good, flush primer seating every time. To accomplish this simply use this station on your Trim Mate to clean out your primer pocket. Case uniformity is crucial when improving the accuracy of your hand loads.
