Charge Master

In today’s tip on reloading I would like to talk about powder charging. While powder charging is a simple operation to perform, it is also critical for the accuracy and the safety of your hand loads. I would like to demonstrate by using the Charge Master combo how you can save time and ensure the accuracy of each and every powder charge. Whenever handling powder you want to be sure to be wearing your safety glasses and always refer to your reloading manual to be sure you have a safe load for each cartridge. I have already gone ahead and thrown my first powder charge so I am going to demonstrate how the Charge Master Combo will save you time.    You simply take your first charge and dispense it into your casing, put the scale pan back on to the scale and with one touch you hit the dispense button. Continue on, while your powder is being dispensed, with the reloading process by going ahead and seating the bullet in the next cartridge. By the time you have seated the bullet, your next powder charge is almost complete and you can go ahead and take that powder charge and trickle it into the next casing. Hit the dispense button on your Charge Master Combo and the process will continue while you go ahead and seat the next bullet. Using this method will ensure that you have a very precise powder charge in each and every load while ensuring a good safe hand load.
