USPSA Factory Gun Nationals

    USPSA Factory Gun Nationals

The newest national championship matches for the United States Practical Shooting Association, with divisions for Limited 10 competition, Production Gun competition and a National Title for Revolver shooters. The new division titles recognize the current limits on magazine capacity and again welcome wheel-gun competitors into the sport. But while the guns are limited, the action isn’t. Championship Series coverage of run-and-gun handgun action.

Competitors in the Production Division compete with essentially stock pistols any citizen could buy at a local gun shop. With strict rules governing modifications, the USPSA is keeping the Production division a simple and inexpensive venue for the new shooter. But at the Grand Master level, the Production Division title is a hot race with Manufacturer bragging rights and advertising campaigns hanging on the outcome of the final score.

The Limited Ten Division is the home for the high capacity 1911 design Limited Division guns and their owners, but for this competition competitors are restricted to using 10-round magazines.

And Revolver is back in USPSA competition with a title to be won in what the competitors refer to as the "limited six division”.  It’s really a race for second place among wheel-gun shooters, in competition to see who will be the best behind number one — Jerry Miculek.
