The 27th Bianchi Cup
It is the most prestigious gun match in the world, with competitors flying in from as far away as New Zealand. They come for the tradition and for the richest prize table in the shooting sports. Over $200,000 in cash and prizes are up for grabs at the Bianchi Cup in Columbia, Missouri.

This is the match created by John Bianchi and Ray Chapman to improve the image of pistol shooters. 27 years later, NRA Action Pistol is shot world-wide on the stages that are now famous challenges—The Practical, The Barricades, The Falling Plates and The Mover; that almost always decides the winner of the Cup.

In 1994, the National Stock Firearm Competition was added to encourage anyone with a handgun to compete, since the dedicated Bianchi guns had become very exotic with barricade wings, compensators, red dot optics and every trick that might help a competitor succeed in the match.

This year, the NRA created the Aggregate Championship for the highest scoring competitor shooting in the Open Class and with Metallic Sights in the Stock Gun Class. The title goes to the highest combined scores.
