 USPSA Three-Gun Nationals   26-03

USPSA Three-Gun Nationals, Las Vegas, NV.

25-03-102The idea is simple: if you’re really good with a handgun, how good are you with your rifle and your shotgun?  That’s the spirit of competition behind the United States Practical Shooting Association’s 3-gun competition. But while there were 3 types of guns in the match, they were never all in the game at the same time -- until now.

This year there is some big news from the USPSA 3-Gun Nationals. We are in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Desert Sportsman’s club ranges. The news is the change in USPSA rules that allow competitors to lay down a loaded firearm in a safe condition, allowing for some true multi-gun action on the stages of fire.

25-03-202There are 3 Divisions competing for National titles, defined by the equipment.

The Limited Division requires iron sights on all three guns.

The Tactical Division allows using a scope on the rifle, but not on the pistol or shotgun.

The Open Division allows optics on all three guns and every other enhancement you can think up, including the use of speed loaders for the shotgun.

You’ll see the good, the fast, and the ugly in the race for the National Titles.
