The SASS Mounted Nationals
It’s time to saddle-up with some of the fastest mounted shooters in the world. We’re covering the SASS Mounted National Championship in Phoenix, AZ.
It’s been a bit over 15 years since Jim Rogers invented Mounted Cowboy Shooting. Since the beginning, there has been tremendous growth in the sport as people who owned horses discovered the challenge of shooting balloons at a full gallop.

There are now clubs across the country participating in matches, but the place to see the best compete is the Single Action Shooting Societies’ Mounted Shooting Nationals.
